What You Get
Huge, 8 inch Plasma Lightning Ball. Ball is 8 inches or 20cm in diameter, height (including stand) is 28cm. Power source: 12V dc adapter included (SAA approved).
How does it work?
The lightning is created from high frequency currents that stream within the gasses (like argon) trapped inside the glass sphere at relatively low pressures. The small plasma orb in the center serves as an electrode that delivers the high voltage currents. The energy causes electrons to be stripped from the gasses, leaving behind positively charged ions in an electrically conductive environment. Ooohh, how we love plasma!
