Did You Know?
In 2006, the International Astronomical Union reclassified Pluto as a 'dwarf planet'. The reason was that, unlike the other eight planets, Pluto does not have clear space around it as it moves through it's orbit. Pluto sits in the Kuiper Belt amongst other icy, rocky objects that form a ring around the Sun.
